What protocol are you using to access the repository -- svn:// or svn
+ssh://? if the latter, then multiple authentication prompts are
expected, and the available solutions are explained here:

http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#ssh-auth-cache

If you're not using svn+ssh:// then that's not it.
