No, you are correct. But, I guess my question is, so what? You can specify the rev range if you use dump. But, not if you use hotcopy.

I agree. I was trying to show that there is no advantage to locking people out.

I always do a reply-all to messages on the list. Isn't that the "best practice" ? If you do just "reply" on this list it doesn't even go to the list.
