Permission problem with svn

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with permission file rights and subversion.

Following setup:
- linux box with repository
- two xp clients who access that repository. The files are hosted then
on a samba share mounted on the two different clients.

If user1 does a checkout first and user2 want's to add files to that
repository, I always get the error that turtoise has not sufficient
write permissions on "entries".

Looking at the "entries" in .svn I can see, that the group only has read
permission. But this should also be write permission as both users are
in the same group "users" and should be able to commit.

How can I configure subversion to make the entries file and other .svn
files writable by the group?

Thank you for any help!

Kind regards,

Merlin
