SVN in a virtual machine for an Enterprise quality configuration?

Is anybody running a SVN server within a virtual machine for an enterprise quality configuration (i.e. no downtime and very stable for use by a worldwide company)? When searching online, the only virtual machine usage for a SVN server appears to be for personal use. I'd be happy to hear from companies who run SVN in a virtual machine.

Has anybody experienced issues running Subversion under VMware Server
2.0 or VMware Esxi? I know that there have been timekeeping issues
when running a VMware linux client, and this sounds dangerous for a
souce control server.

Thanks,
Jon
