MKACTIVITY Error

All,

I'm using Subversion on Linux (Debian) and TortoiseSVN under Windows.
Since some days I get nearly every second "commit try" a error message:

MKACTIVITY of '/svn/foo....': 409 Conflict (http://svn.my.network)

(then I try again and everything works fine).

In the apache log I found the following:

(2)No such file or directory: <DAV:resource-must-be-null/> [409, #0]

Now... what does that stuff mean? Any hint?
