That's the key question. (Should I post to the dev list?)

I'd rather not set up a public/private keypair because, occasionally,
having to enter my password saves me from an incomplete or otherwise
mistaken commit. (Though I suppose I'll just have to back my thinking
and habits up one step...)

Anyway, if the keys are the only way to go, I'll do it.
