Thanks for all your input.
My statistics from SharpSvn/AnkhSVN (and responses on the development list)
indicate that there are at least a few hundred 1.5 users on Windows 2000.
Currently we have nothing to gain in our code base by limiting support to
only Windows XP and later. (There is no windows 2000 specific compatibility
code in subversion as far as I can see)
At this time I see no reason to drop support for Windows 2000.
There might be a reason in a few years, when we support features of the
newer windows versions (e.g. Windows Vista introduced real symbolic links
and 'Windows 7' will probably add other new features that might be useful to
add to subversion later)
