Kirti,

1. No problem at all since directory versioning is part of SVNs basic
principles.

2. As you start working with SVN you will have to become used to the
parasigm that version numbers are no longer associated with individual
files but with the state of the whole repository. Therefore there is no
way to assign version numbers to each file; in my early SVN days I had a
hard time saying "goodbye" to the old paradigm; but as time went by I
have not felt any need for it anymore :-)
