I need more information regarding Autolock

Hi All,
I am looking for a Autolocking option in Subversion to manage our data in form of Graphics,Audio and Video.(Is it possible through Hookscript)

Basically I need a option like-Whenever a user open a file It should be locked from the server side.
No other user can edit/write or can take it from server for edit it .Only Read option can be available.

Can anybody help me out.
I need the help ASAP
