The TortoiseSvn dialog box displays a list of all the files as they are
being updated and at the bottom of the dialog box is a text label which
reads "X kBytes transferred, at Y kBytes/second".

The "X" and "Y" are frequently updated during the update progress.

That is with TortoiseSVN 1.4.8 client (against the collab net subversion
server).
