post-commit hook exit out if not from trunk

Looking from suggestions how to exit out of my post-commit script if the commit
was not to the trunk. Example when I copy trunk to a tag it runs the post-commit.
Only want post-commit to run on trunk commit or have it exit if tag or
branch created.
