That'll probably work. If your DSL is asynchronous, as most DSL is,
it could be a bit slow to access the repository through that line.
You'll have to try it out and see if the speed is acceptable.

I've never seen Kubuntu. You'll have to ask them what's up with their
CD.

Using Apache 2, over ssl or not, is one way to serve Subversion
repositories. Another way is to use svnserve, over ssh or not. See
