I think "com" is another reserved "device" name.

Pretty sure MS has this documented somewhere in their KnowledgeBase or
TechNet. Closest I can find is
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323161/en-us but I think those names
apply to directory & file names as well as SQLServer DB names.
