J2EE plus Subversion

Hello,

I am administering a web application using J2EE technology. We're using Sun
Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8.1 2005Q2
UR2 as our web/application server. I have created a single project
repository for the said project.
The project consists of different
modules separated in different directories and are contained within a single
parent directory (DEV).

The revision version is now over 600. The main problem is that sometimes,
when we would compile and then deploy the web app, old versions of
code/css layouts would show up on the deployed site. Does subversion has
something to do with this?

Thanks

RJ
