SVN Client on Vista behind authenticating proxy - not working

Hello all,

I'm trying to use subversion client 1.4.4 on Windows Vista (business) behind
an authenticating proxy. I do know that subversion can work behind this
proxy because I am able to access it using a colleague's XP machine, as well
as from an XP virtual machine running on my Vista laptop.

What happens is that any svn command that needs the repository just hangs
forever. I ran "svn ls" on my repository, which is accessed via apache, and
it sits there for > 45 minutes while never coming back. I can go to my
VMWare VM running XP and svn ls comes back immediately. I am able to browse
the repo using Apache from vista, and am able to access the repo from Vista
when not behind a proxy.

Is this a known issue? I've tried turning off the Windows firewall - no help

Thanks,

John
