hi all,

in our company migration from vss and sccs to svn has
just been approved. however, there is one vss fanatic who
is making noisy claims that this decision is wrong and that
it will be a waste of time and money. sound counterclaims
have already been issued. but in order to stop the debate
(the manager who approved the decision did it mostly as
a matter of confidence), i would like to show him serious
evidence that vss is evil (beyond karl fogel's quote about
the shredder and fire).

googling "why not use vss" gives some interesting pages,
most notably martin tome's blog entry
http://www.subversionary.org/blog/martintomes.

but most claims don't provide formal evidence, are sometimes
anonymous, like a guy who claims having worked at microsoft.
do you know of a link that i could use?
