Operation times out

From: Benjamin Gomez <bgomez_at_fismaster.usc.edu>

Trying to commit a file and it keeps getting error message about timing out
this is the message

svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: MERGE request failed on
'/directory/filename' svn: Operation timed out

The only thing I see different is that this file went from 16536 lines of
code and now itıs 16696 lines of code.

I went back and only added a few lines and it commits with no problem but as
soon as I add all the remainder lines of code it again times out.

Itıs there a limit of how big a file could be?
