Post-commit hook script

Hi All, I have written a shell script to take incremental backup of subversion repoitory and named it as "post-commit" with the permissions as 755 in the hooks directory. But when I do a commit on the subversion repository the script is not invoked. Please help me out in solving this issue. Thanks, Abha
