That might be true for me if my mail client were incapable of filtering
list mail to separate per-list folders. (In fact, I do the filtering
server-side with procmail, serving folders with IMAP, but most decent
clients can filter on a list header to accomplish the same.)

I know your message is about Subversion because it's in my
Lists/Subversion/Users folder. Putting it in the subject line would be
superfluous.
