Is there something like Multi-Site by ClearCase? Merging between repos

First question:

Is feature like multi-site (by rational clearcease) planned in svn roadmap?
Multi - site is the way to organize work with remote offices, when you have
your own repository(placed in your location) and any changes could be
deliverd to remote repo(for example : i `m working with my local development
branch(repo situated in my local network), and when part of development is
finished i want to deliver my changes to the MAIN repo(situate somewhere in
the world)).

Second question:

FAQ and SVN book sais that there is no possibility to merge between repos,
but also it sais that this feature will be implemented in future versions.
So my question is - is there any third-party solutions to resolve this
problem and when merge between repos will be implemented in svn ?

Second question is really similar to the first i think ..... Thanks
