ldap against active directory forest

hi!
i'm currently using subversion via apache 2.0.x with ldap authentication against a active directory server. it works fine.

but due to some changes we got multiple windows domains. they are searchable via one ldap server that has ldap referrals to the domains.

my problem is that it seems those referrals are not resolved when searching the users. has anyone a solution for my problem.

my ldapserver is a debian sarge with module 'libapache2-mod-authz-ldap' version 0.26-1

my testsystem is also a debian sarge, but with module 'libapache-authznetlap-perl' version 0.7-4

as mentioned, both work with a normal domain, but both seem to fail with referrals.
