Well, coming from the Java world, with my limited knowledge of how SSL
works. I know that we had to import the SA certificate from the AD
into our cacerts file (this is for a Java based application) - I am
assuming you are using mod_authz_ldap, since you are on 2.2?

Here is something that might be useful if you were using mod_auth_ldap

http://www.muquit.com/muquit/software/mod_auth_ldap/ssl_tls.html

On a side note, because a Win2k3 AD also functions as a Kerberos key
distribution center (KDC) I have configured our SVN repo to
authenticate with mod_auth_kerb. it was a lot less confusing for me
vs LDAP.
