Which is a stinging indictment of the poor quality of the deployment documentation. It wasn't that hard to do, it was that hard to figure out what to do. That is inexcusable and can and should be fixed. But it has nothing to do with Apache or Subversion or Windows per se.

(BTW, I'm not buying the rhetoric that Apache on Linux runs faster, jumps higher, and has more fun than on Windows. I can't find anything on http://httpd.apache.org that says that Windows is a second-class host environment, but we really should move that conversation to a new thread.)
