svn ignore?

Hi,

I checkout a copy of my repository. After I work with this local copy
there is a file called temp.txt that is created. When I commit I don't
ever want to commit this temporary file. When I run "svn status" I
don't even want to see this file in the list. Is there something like

svn ignore temp.txt

? When I do "svn help" i don't find anything like this.

Thanks,
Peter
