Desktop / Server configuration

From: Danny et Diane Fournier <dannyetdiane_at_sympatico.ca>

Here is my setup:

Server
Subversion 1.3.1
Windows 2000 + IIS
- I have use the following wrapper to have it run as a service
(http://clanlib.org/~mbn/svnservice/)
- I have created a repository and imported a specific folder of the website

Desktop
Windows XP SP2
Eclipse 3.1.2
Subclipse 1.0.x

My questions are:
- I'm attempting to connect using svn://192.168.x.x through Subclipse and
its telling me that a repository cannot be found. Do I have to run something
else on the server in order for it to connect (svnserve)?

- Will I need to copy the web files from my server to my desktop (and work
on them) in order to have something to compare with or can I access the
files directly that were imported to create my repository using
Eclipse/Subclipse?

Hoping this is clear enough :)

Dan
