I svn:ignored . and can't unset it.

Did a bad thing. I was playing around with svn:ignore, and I think I set it
on the top level directory of my project, because I can no longer make any
commits now:

   $ svn commit

   Log message unchanged or not specified
   a)bort, c)ontinue, e)dit
   c
   Sending .
   svn: Commit failed (details follow):
   svn: Out of date: '' in transaction '39'

I don't know how to recover from this mistake. Can someone give me guidance
on how to get myself out of this mess?

Thanks!
Pete
