This is the official list of clients:

http://subversion.tigris.org/project_links.html#clients

The only Mac clients listed are SvnX, which you tried, and scplugin,
which purports to offer Finder integration, but I don't think it's
very mature.

VersionTracker lists also eSvn and iSVN:

http://www.versiontracker.com/php/search.php?action=search&str=svn

Many of the cross-platform clients, like RapidSVN and SmartSVN,
should also work on Mac OS X, with varying degrees of success and
elegance.

I myself didn't have the patience to try out all these clients; after
being disappointed with the first few I tried, I've been using the
command line, and that works just fine.
