Copying back and forth .svn files sounds like a dangerous thing to me. You can
easily end up in some strangely inconsistent state of your WC.

If you have done all the work to check out SVN workink copy, why don't you
just use it? If you need some private files from your old CVS WC which are
not in the repository, you can always copy or rsync them to your new SVN
workink copy, without any risk to corrupt .svn files.
