Subversion and the mainframe environment?

Hi all -

Just a general question here - is anyone here using Subversion against
mainframe environments (zOS, 390's etc)? Are you using it simply to manage
source destined for mainframes?

I'd really like to hear from anyone who does this - any process stuff you
can share would be wonderful, especially if you've moved from stuff like
Endevor or Dimensions. I'm a total mainframe n00b here, so verbosity is
good. The last mainframe I touched was Penn State's VM/CMS system, and
that was some time ago.

Thanks!
