Ok, I have recognized that SmartCVS is only a client not server.
First, I thought that it is a new type of CVS server but it is not.

Well - first of all, you need to compare apples to apples.

SmartCVS is a _client_ for CVS, while Subversion is the actual _server_
technology (that also has a client tool).

If you want to compare, compare SmartCVS with SmartSVN, TortoiseSVN,
RapidSVN, etc.
