REPORT request failed

Hi all

In the process of migrating to SVN, I've setup the repository for it to
be used by my colleagues.
I added lots of files, and it's all working on my local copy.
But when my colleagues do the initial checkout, they get this message:

REORT request failed on '/svn/sources/!svn/vcc/default'
The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error
at line 161657: no element found (/svn/sources/!svn/vcc/default)

And any further attempt to update the repository gives the previous
message (different line though) or this message:

REPORT request failed on '/svn/sources/!svn/vcc/default'
Invalid diff stream: [tgt] insn 384 starts beyond the target view position

I tried to do a checkout in another (blank) folder on my machine, and I
get the very same errors.
The server configuration is this:

Win2000
Apache 2.0.53
Svn 1.1.4

The clients are
WinXP or Win2000
TortoiseSVN 1.1.4

I tried to turn http compression off, but to no avail. Well, I think I
turned it off, I edited the c:\document and
settings\osannier\application data\subversion\servers file and set
http-compression = no in the [global] section and I even restarted my
workstation.
Can anyone help me there, it is very "critical" that this migration to
svn actually works.

Thanks
Olivier Sannier
