A very weird problem after upgrade to Subversion 1.2

I have recently installed Subversion 1.2, as the release note says,
the version of Berkeley db was unintentionally upgraded to version 4.3
as well and thus my repository created in 1.1.4 doesn't work anymore.
By following the instructions given in the FAQ, title: "After
upgrading to Berkeley DB 4.3, I'm seeing repository errors" (link on
that page isn't working), I can recover my repository. However the
following problem occurs:
If the FIRST command I run after the recovery is 'svn list
http://myrepos', 'svnlook' will not work with the repository anymore.
However, if the FIRST command I run after the recovery is 'svnlook',
then 'svn list' will not work again.

I am running subversion under windows xp with Apache 2.0.54
