That should be more than adequate. My home server is a P3-650 w. 256MB
ram, running Mandrake linux - it runs subversion for my "fun"
projects, including my thesis project.
It also runs Apache and mysql with a handful of websites with photo
galleries w/dynamic image manipulation, a samba server, ftp server for
a few friends, occasionally it runs bittorrent and Tomcat too.

I noticed no performance problems with subversion at all.
