When I attempt to commit I get
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: MKACTIVITY of '/svn/!svn/act/de5d679f-b2ef-0310-b465-b74a39834e52': 500 Internal Server Error (http://localhost:8000)
on the client.
The server Apache2 log shows
[Sun Feb 06 06:29:51 2005] [notice] Apache/2.0.52 (Debian GNU/Linux) DAV/2 SVN/1.1.3 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Wed Feb 09 10:55:25 2005] [crit] [client 127.0.0.1] configuration error: couldn't perform authentication. AuthType not set!: /svn/!svn/act/6a77a29b-b2ef-\
0310-b708-8b41b3d5c513
Both machines are running Debian subversion 1.1.3-1.
The client connects to the server via ssh and forwards local port 8000
to the server.
I connected and did an svn update (which was a no-op; client was
current). Then I closed the ssh session and probably the whole dial
up session. Then I reconnected (probably from a different IP) and got
the above error.
Until now this setup has been working fine. I upgraded from
subversion 1.1.1-2 to 1.1.3-1 on Feb 3 (on the server, probably around
then on the client).
Any ideas how to fix this?
