mailinglists (I won't mention top posting...oops, I just did).}

Anyhow, the limitation that you can't have repositories on shared drives only
applies to the BDB backend, not the FSFS one. Possibly related is that you
can export an FSFS repository as read-only, while even read access to a BDB
repository needs write access to the files.
