Subversion environment advice

I need some advice on a choice of platform for setting up Subversion. I
intend to put it up on a web server, probably using some flavor of Linux.

My requirements are:

1. Lightweight. The machine I'll likely be running it on is an older one a
Cyrix 166. Yeah, I know, but it's the only one I have available for the
purpose. I don't want to run it on my Windows box, because I don't want to
expose that to the internet.

2. *I* have to be able to set it up. While I'm a computer professional, I'm
by no means a Linux expert, though I've set it up a couple of times.

3. It must be pretty representative of Linux flavors in general, simply
because the eventual environment on which this will be deployed will be a
Linux one. That statement alone probably displays my lack of familiarity
with Linux, huh?

Thanks,
Brad
