q: svn+ssh to svnserve on cygwin problem.

greetings.

i can't seem to get svnserve on cygwin to work properly.
it tells me no repository found at location...
otherwise, it'll tell me it's disconnected unexpectedly,
or it'll say there's nothing in the repository.
(that's what i get when i try various ways to do svn+ssh).
what i actually did was to rename svnserve to svnserver,
& i made a /usr/bin/svnserve script that calls svnserver,
passing $* & -r <dir>

i've tried configuring it on cygwin with svnserve -d -r <dir>
and it works.

i've even tried configuring it on an itanium linux box to
work via ssh and it works too. (i set it up the same way,
with the script n all).

i've dug around n noticed at some time, this problem has
occured to some people... while some were successful.
but the last post that had this problem dated back to 2003!
i'd assume it's solved... can someone tell me how to fix
this?

btw, do i assume the compiled source works alright on
a 64 bit platform?

rgds,

kh
