windows 2003 problems

Platform:

server: Intel Pentium 4 HT, Windows 2003 Server standard edition, subversion 1.1.1

clients: XP professional (SP2)

I tried with svnserve based server - everything was OK until I tried to check-out data from repository - I get checksum mismatch error on binary files (e.g. on MS Word documents)

I tried with Apache based server (v2.0.52) - everything was also OK until I tried to check-out data from repository - process hangs

I tried it with bdb and fsfs - there was no difference

Then I tried to share directory and make repository in that shared directory. It worked OK, but I'm disappointed I couldn't make it work with svnserve nor with apache.

I tried to set svnserve on Win XP Pro and tested it with XP Pro client (both service pack 2) and everything worked fine.
Since we have backup unit, etc, etc on Win2003 server of course I want to make it work there.

Does anybody have any idea what is the problem?
