Hello,

I know the difference between the copy-modify-merge and the
lock-modify-unlock models. As you don't "check out" (and lock) files in
subversion, you don't have the information that a specific user is working
on that file. Is there some possibility to somehow get such information with
subversion? Perhaps via the subversion-specific properties or something
else?

I think of a scenario like

- user1 checks out a file (basically get the latest version)
- user1 somehow marks this file in the repository with his name
- user2 can see who is working on this file and get in contact with him

Is this possible?

Greetings,
Martin Hilpert
