Actually, '[Mm]' *is* a shell globbing pattern, at least in Bash. The
Bash docs don't list it as a specific extension, and setting Bash to
POSIX mode doesn't disable. A quick test indicates that it works in ksh
on AIX 4.3, too, so I suspect it's part of Posix sh.
