svn+ssh checkout hanging

Hello,

I've installed svn-1.0.9-setup.exe on my system, and am using svn
under the MinGW32 environment. The following command was issued:

svn co svn+ssh://login@www.domain.net/svn/home/directory

The above command hangs indefinitely. The version of ssh installed is
2.9p2. I've read the troubleshooting section of the subversion docs,
but the only hang problem I read about was associated with Berkeley DB.
That is definitely not the problem here, since I'm not even getting
a password prompt from ssh. The ssh client works fine on its own.

Has anyone else had this problem?
