running a subversion 1.1 rc3 server under Win XP Pro

Has anyone written a cribsheet of the steps involved to get the
subversion server running on a Win XP Pro machine?

I have all sorts of problems.

are the *.so mod_dav module files that come with subversion 1.1 rc3
compiled for a specific version of apache? Which one?

What apache download have you used as a starting point?

Or will I have to compile from source to get a windows server going?

Appreciate any pointers, I don't believe I am the first one to
struggle getting this working under win xp pro.
