OK, got you. Actually though, when I said "essentially the same thing" I
was just trying to say "same effect via different means". I wasn't trying
to draw conclusions or imply that there were not some differences. Just
that the same end effect was mostly achieved.

I sort of follow you, but I think you present too much information to
follow up on. I think if you could present a specific scenario you view
as a problem, or at least sub-optimal, followed by a specific proposal, it
would be easier to follow and comment on. If you have multiples, deal
with them as separate threads. I do realize, you are trying to throw a
lot out of info out there for a reason. I just think it makes it easy to
kill the conversation, which is obviously not your intent.
