Hi,
am running Debian Server and have read and followed instructions as described at
http://www.xhtml.net/articles/subversion-apache2-debian

My apt-sources sources contains following entries:

deb http://www.backports.org/debian/ woody apache2
deb http://www.backports.org/debian/ woody subversion
deb http://people.debian.org/~adconrad woody subversion
deb-src http://people.debian.org/~adconrad woody subversion

So simple "atp-get" does all the instalaltion for me.
1. apt-get install db4.2 db4.2-doc libdb4.2++-dev libdb4.2-dev libdb4.2-tcl
2. apt-get install subversion libapache2-svn subversion-tools python2.1-subversion

As described here
<http://www.xhtml.net/articles/subversion-apache2-debian> I have done all the steps but
after "Quick start phase" described at
<http://svnbook.red-bean.com/svnbook-1.0/ch01s07.html>
Svnadmin returns - "svn: Unknown FS type 'bdb'".
Even though all the required packages like "neon" "swig" were fetched and placed by "apt-get".

Can anyone help and tell me how to procedd or should I recompile all the sources
"gentoo-way"?

Thank you in advance,
Sanjar Jalilov
