Is it hard? I don't see anything in

   http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1361

to indicate that it is hard, though the patches there are not quite
finished. I get the feeling it's more a prioritization thing.

I don't understand. The bug is present in what you're currently
using, and would be present in the upgraded Subversion (assuming it's
not fixed). So nothing gets worse for you, it just stays the same.
Therefore, how is it a showstopper for upgrading?
