It really depends on how you use ClearCase. I wrote a pretty simplistic
perl script that convert a ClearCase repository to subversion but it
doesn't deal with moves, deletes, renames or branches.

Subversion (even over http+ssl) is significantly faster than ClearCase
but then we weren't using ClearCase to its full potential.. so we won't
miss much of the additional functionality it provides.
