I just requested scoring, similar to that of Xnews (a Win32 news reader).
For example, I specify a token to embed in my outbound message ID's. News
posts that reply to mine will have References headers containing that
token, and therefore receive a default high score that is highlighted in
the threading display, making it easy to pick out replies to my posts.

The scoring system is regex-based, so I can specify a regex to look for in
headers, a score to assign, and an expiration date for the rule. The rules
are grouped, with the groups using a regex to specify what newsgroups they
apply to.

Since you can read this list as a newsgroup on Gmane, you can use this
system to spot favorite Subversion topics, or boost the score of posts by
the developers so that they stand out.

(The closest to that in Mulberry is to assign the IMAP "important" flag to
the developers' posts, which I do on most mailing lists. I do this in
procmail but you could do it with a Mulberry rule.)
