svn: Write error: Bad file descriptor

From: Casper Hornstrup <chorns_at_users.sourceforge.net>

Using Subversion 1.1.0 RC2 on Windows, when running "svn merge"
from a Windows service, I get the following error:

svn: Write error: Bad file descriptor

"svn checkout" works fine. The repository type is FSFS and I
use the file:// protocol.

When running the command from the command prompt there is no
problem.

I do redirect the standard streams to the Windows service.

With Subversion 1.0.6 there is no problem when running it from
the Windows service or the command prompt.

How can I make it work with Subversion 1.1?

Casper
