"XML parser failed " error

When I attempt to do a "svn info" using the subversion client or a "show
log" in tortoise SVN on a particular working copy, I am getting the
following error:

Command: C:\svn-win32-1.0.4\bin>svn info [PATH]

Response: svn: XML parser failed in '[PATH]'
                svn: Date conversion failed

Any ideas what is causing this?

Repository: Subversion 1.0.4 on Windows Server 2003
Client: ToirtoiseSVN 1.0.7 on Windows Server 2003
