Weird.

I have to admit that I never used the "thread" command, but only
the "users-get" command, which worked as expected in my case (but that
was on the RapidSVN list).

This sounds like some kind of problem / defect.

I think the best thing you can do is to contact
users-owner@subversion.tigris.org, as mentioned in the WELCOME
message.
